since the aliens reproduce asexually, the typically alpha and omega dynamics don’t really apply. instead, alphas simply have pack-making instincts and the tendency to prioritize protecting others, while omegas are generally loners unless they get adopted into a pack. betas fall on a range somewhere between the two
