———— ♕┊ SHE HAD EXPERIENCED THE WORLD THROUGH HIS EYES—— Brilliant and beautiful among even the ruins of their failures a century prior. Nature FLOURISHED where Hylians once presided and it was far different from the lands they once were. Through HIS eyes, the world was new and unfamiliar ( a stranger in the midst of unknown dangers )... And through HER eyes, she saw the ruins of once illustrious structures that boasted their grandeur and of nature overgrown upon worn paths.
Zelda had yearned ( and yearned and YEARNED ) to take upon his burden alongside him—— to experience these lands with her knight and with new eyes. Yet like legends prior to her, she remained helpless trapped in a crumbling cage.
To now see these lands herself by his side... she could barely breathe. JOY...LOSS... And yet her laugh is breathless and in awe as the robust Lurelin breeze brushes upon her skin, salt upon her tongue. And she looks toward her companion, eyes bright in her adoration and excitement as her arms OUTSTRETCH to feel the breeze through her fingertips.
THE OCEAN! For how long had she desired to see it once more? To see Hyrule’s sunrise in brilliant roseate and coral hues painted upon the stilled oceans with her very own eyes?
❝ Link! This is amazing! ❞ Zelda laughs out as she swivels toward her companion, smile ever wide and already she’s turning back to the ocean. ❝ Surely we HAVE to take a swim! Or perhaps eat some of the fruit or seafood here? It’s been so long since I’ve tasted any of this or felt the ocean! There’s so much we have to do! Or even those ruins you were by before! ❞ And already the princess was off on her tangent, thrilled as she takes in every sensation presented to her.
