congrats on your milestone i can't even imagine the strength it takes to just cold turkey it for that long. certainly much stronger than me lol

last time you said you hope i'm well; i was doing pretty bad then and i'm still doing bad (last 2 weeks have been real lows for me) but it's turning for the better i think and improvement is improvement

actually the proper 1 year anniversary of my first ask passed 10 days ago i didn't realise that whoops... well i sent the ask early before anyway so it's fine

1 year as an anon is a lot... i feel like most anons don't last nearly that long, particularly on jirai (if you're even that anymore?) accounts. just goes to show how cool you are

ESSA is an acronym for Emotional Support Stuffed Animal, it's essentially any plushes or stuffed animals that bring you emotional support or comfort. It can be for any reason, and some people treat them as similar to real service dogs, sometimes they even wear vests and such ^^

There is also DSSA which is an acronym for Disability Support Stuffed Animal, aka any stuffed animal or plush that is used for disability support

DSSA is usually exclusive for people with disabilities, whereas ESSA can be for anyone at all. However if someone has a DSSA they can still call it an ESSA!

I've most commonly seen them used for Anxiety, Autism (or other forms of Neurodivergency), Depression, and sometimes complusions or stims. They can still be used for anything ofc

so I called my mom out for things she said and explained to her what an ESSA was, and essentially told her that she was being rude and offensive, but she just got mad at me for it

she was saying stuff about the teenager and asking if maybe they were "mentally challenged" and such, which basically really angered me.. because why in the world would you say stuff like that???

and I just find that really odd.. I don't swear for any of those reasons..

I mainly swear because it's a way to express my emotions through words and express when I'm upset or when my emotions are very intense. Not to be cool or to attack people??
