As a fun little thing What is your favourite animal or species of animal and why?
It's been okay. Tired of the hustle but gotta keep the lights on yk. NDA work is taking up a lot of my time, and it's all cool stuff dgmw, but I need to improve making time to draw for myself.
Favorite animal will probably always be hyena. I think they're neat, and have misunderstood social hierarchy that is much more than what's typically an accepted belief (the males receiving hostility/abused by females.) They're matrilineal animals and the males typically move from pack to pack for genetic variation. It would make sense there are more instances of female hyenas pushing around lower ranking males because they probably just showed up. Like I would be a little bit of an asshole if some rando came to my porch and was like "I wanna bang your sister and join your clan for the food and pack benefits." Like, excuse me, who are you? Pushes this dude around a bit.
Anyway, hyenas are cool. I like a cool animal that nature said at some evolutionary point in history that this creature is "good enough" and remained seemingly unchanged beyond epochs. I highly suggest also scoping out hyena evolution and prehistoric species (dinocrocuta, my beloved).
