That got interesting
I've totally messed up my routine today, being my kind of mythical best helping a friend with stuff. It's a nice feeling you get from doing something for a friend, I gave her my time and she gave love and appreciation. So, I just finished with GMM, way later than usual, and to put it in a few words, there were some stranger things going on at the set today. Link is being very animated and cheerful this week, and if possible, he was even more energetic today than yesterday. I love seeing him so hyper, but there was a moment in GMMore where he reminded me of my puppy when she was little and got a bit too excited while playing and bit my toe. I really hope Rhett disciplined him after the camera stopped filming. There were many hilarious little moments in the main episode. I really like it when they manage to take a fairly boring topic like sofas and turn it into a funny and entertaining episode like this. And they managed to find some pretty awesome pieces of furniture. I need a hippopotamus sofa for myself right now! I don't know why I'm always so delighted by the pop cultural references they make, but when Rhett said that thing about John almost having a Basic Instinct moment in the ad, I laughed out loud. It's also so weird how my mind works. I know it's probably a demi thing, but when I saw John getting comfy on that sofa, like naked, I cringed. It was like seeing my brother naked, which is something I really try to avoid. I kind of see that John is an ok-looking man, and it almost makes me feel sorry for myself that seeing him does nothing for me. All I could think about was how gross it would be to sit on that sofa after he sat there with no clothes on. Lol! I love it when Rhett teases Link about him being an over-protective dad. I wonder if Link is so worried about Lily because he has first hand experience of teenage boys and their hormones - for what I've learned from watching their stories about their own teenage years, Link seems to have been quite a player himself... Ok, things kind of got out of hand in GMMore. Now firstly, that excercise sofa could easily be a real thing, but for the looks of it, it's best to use it alone and not with your best friend. It was just utterly hilarious to watch them wrestle, and to think it all started with a talk about Rhett's vasectomy was just priceless. They are really so comfortable on camera these days that I can't help but wonder if they even remember being filmed.
