𝜗𝜚 HE IS OBSESSED WITH YOU.- Not in a loud or overbearing way, but in a quiet, observant and hopelessly devoted way.
𝜗𝜚 Trying to tell him your schedule is almost pointless because he's already memorised it without meaning to. Not because he wants to keep tabs on you, he'd never do it in a controlling way. But because he wants to make sure you are where you're supposed to be, to make sure you get home safely before him.
If you're later than usual, he'll send a simple "괜찮아? Update me when you can."
That's is. No repeat calls or floods of text. He trusts you. Still, he finds himself checking his phone more often than he'd admit, quietly waiting for your reply.
𝜗𝜚 He's very protective.
He notices everything. The fresh scratches on your hands after dealing with difficult students, the tired smile you wear when you're emotionally exhausted, or the breakfast you skipped even though you never miss it. You rarely have to tell him when somethings wrong, he's already pieced it together.
He has a habit of checking everything twice. The doors are locked, the windows are shut, your phone has enough battery and you've got your keys before you leave. It's never about controlling you. He simply knows how easily things can go wrong and he refuses to leave anything to chance.
You tease him constantly, calling him your personal security system. He'll just glance at you with the faintest smile and reply "Humour me."
The moment you get sick, he goes into overdrive. Before you even ask for anything he's already shown up with medicine, warm soup, extra blankets and a thermometer in hand. He stays beside you without complaint, making sure you eat, drink and take your medicine on time.
𝜗𝜚 He insists he isn't the sentimental type. Why does he need reminders of you when he'd rather have you right there beside him? What he doesn't realise is that the worn receipt from your first date tucked away in his wallet, the photo of you he never takes out and the hair tie that somehow found a permanent home in his jacket pocket are reminders.
He never meant to keep them, but throwing them away never felt right either.
That goes for physical affection too.
He'll tell anyone he's not particularly affectionate, yet it's woven into everything he does. A steady hand resting against the small of your back as you weave through a crowd. Straighten your collar without a second thought. Absentmindedly tracing slow circles across your palm whenever you're curled up together.
None of it was deliberate. It's simply the quiet language of someone who cares more than he'll admit.
𝜗𝜚 He's not into making scenes. At least not when he's outside of a school setting. If someone makes you uncomfortable, he doesn't raise his voice or start an argument. He simply steps in, placing himself between you and them. Then he looks at them. One calm and unreadable glance from those warm brown eyes is usually enough to make them rethink.
A moment later, they've suddenly remembered somewhere else they need to be.
𝜗𝜚 He feels jealousy. But never loud or possessive. He's completely secure in himself and fully trusts both you and your relationship. What doesn’t gets under his skin isn’t harmless attention. It’s when someone ignores you or disrespects your boundaries. That’s when the calm look on his face hardens into someone genuinely intimidating.
𝜗𝜚 He remembers every little detail, all of your preferences. From your coffee order, the side of the bed you prefer to the sleep on to the movie you insist you hate but secretly cry over when you think he isn’t watching. It’s never forced, he simply pays attention because to him, every detail about you is worth remembering.
𝜗𝜚 He LOVES saying "I'm teaching you a lesson." It’s never meant in a condescending way or to belittle you. It’s his way of reminding you that every action has consequences, especially when those consequences involving neglecting yourself. If you ignore his advice, you’ll inevitably overwork yourself, skip meals or forget to rest.
"Eat first.." He says placing a freshly made meal in front of you. “Then you can explain why you thought missing lunch was worth it.” You’re not leaving the table until you’ve finished eating too. Not because he’s trying to control you, but because he knows you’ll keep putting yourself last if someone doesn’t step in. He listens patiently as you yep away. Secretly, he enjoys it, the longer you grumble, the longer he gets you by his side.
When you jokingly call him strict, he simply shrugs. “If I seem strict, it’s because I plan on keeping you around for a long time.” There’s no edge to his voice, no hidden agenda behind his words. Just quiet sincerity. You know every lesson he gives comes from a place of care, and you never tire of hearing him speak so confidently about a future that always includes you.
