@namasteblade wanted some Karrie drama.
  Nergüi grins as the man stands, music pounding around them. Their eyes lock for a moment before he turns away, fear and shame in his eyes. This may not have started as nicely as Nergüi liked but it ended how he wanted it. A hand reaches out, swiping the USB from the beer stained table. The information he was after. The next money maker in his grand scheme. A low chuckle as it is rolled through his fingers. A good night’s work.
  “Told you I could do it,” Karrie says, sliding into the booth next to him. She drapes herself over his shoulder and Nergüi stiffens. She’s had a few drinks, needed to in order to make the mark malleable. He’s had a few as well but he isn’t at the stupid levels yet. It looks like Karrie’s moved into her scheming stage. This isn’t good.
  “Never doubted you,” He rumbles, eyes staying focused on the info before he tucks it into a pocket. He and Karrie might have rough patches but he has never doubted her skills. Manipulation is high up there.
  “I think we should celebrate,” She coos, a hand toying with his hair. “Have a few drinks. Maybe dance.”
  “That’s not a-,” Nergüi begins, eyes turning to her as he pulls out of her grip.
  “Come on! Just one won’t hurt. I already bought them,” Karrie interrupts, producing a couple of beers.
  Nergüi’s jaw clenches as he eyes the drinks. He shouldn’t. He should just push her away and be done with this, but ... he has no other ride. He’s stuck here for a while and he knows he can’t keep refusing her. Last time he tried that she made a scene. It wasn’t good. But he can’t do as she says either. Shit. He’s gonna need back up but who to call?
  “Yeah, okay. Just one.” He accepts the bottle, turning away to open it as Karrie grins.Â
  His phone is pulled from his pocket and unlocked. Opening messages, he goes to the first number on there. Usually he wouldn’t go for her but no one else will be available right now. He really hopes she comes quickly, before she walks in on something he’ll have trouble explaining.Â
  Hana, I really hope you’ll be on my side, he thinks as he types out the message and hits send.
