Light shun hitting your eyelids even as you turned your face the blinding light outside was attacking you in an unmercyful way to awaken you. Turning to face away from the outer room you gently threw your arm over to pull your girlfriend against you. All you felt was cold air, causing you to narrow your eyebrows in confusion. Moving your hand about the spot she takes every night, huffing once you realized she was really gone.

Siting up in the bed, eyes still closed as you yawned stretching your back popping as you did. Groaning from the feel causing another yawn to slip out again. Looking around the room finally. It seemed to be later in the day, looking on the counter you took note of the paper the only person you could think of writing it.

Something about Wanda being gone for a bit' either for morning training or something. You were to tired to read the whole thing, Laying back down you almost fell asleep if the door didn't open and in walked Wanda humming a song as she held a tray in her hands.

"Oh my love! You're up" kicking the door closed behind her Wanda came closer excitement showing on her even as she tried to hide it just a bit "here! Try some" Putting it on you, you took note of what it was in confusion

It was a breakfast trey of food. Smiling when you realized Wanda made you some of your favorite chocolate chip pancakes with eggs on the side, taking a bite was like heaven exploding in your mouth, she always knew to somehow melt the chocolate in a way that makes pancakes taste even better. Moaning at the taste Wanda laughed

"Your moaning very loud- am I going to have to leave you two alone for a bit?" Jokingly nodding along she laughed again with a roll of her eyes, pressing a buttery kiss to her cheek you looked at the food before freezing in thought.

Did you forget a holiday, a date?? What could you have forget-

"So what brought this up love?" Pressing a kiss to her cheek as she sat down, tilting her head in confusion she smiled in confusion.

"Do- do you know what today is?" Repeating the date back to her after checking it she nodded her head "yeah exactly. What's today" taking a moment you sat, the fork in hand frozen in thought,

"Oh"
