Still kind of sad to not have a buck from Martha haha. I cant be too upset, especially with all the complications. Iâm so lucky to have anything from her at all. Weâre just down to the nubian kids now! I have to decide who iâm keeping other than Mildred. Probably not Lucy, but Cascade and Betty are more to think about. I think iâll be finding a new home for rhonda because shes a huge bully to martha especially. So itd kind of be nice to keep betty, but her ears are so short. Lucyâs ears are longer, but shes a huge pain. She has a lot more personality, but iâm not a fan of how rowdy she is. Sheâll be a great goat for somebody, but not me haha
Cascade is pretty, but i also have Marcy. I like the way marcy looks better than cassie, but ive been thinking of finding someone to take esther because she has such a bad foreudder and sheâs narrow. Her parents are beautiful, and i love her kids, so hopefully the combination of her with santanoni made kids thatâll have better udders. Just so much to think on⌠and iâm so picky about who takes my goats, so nothing is happening anytime soon, just have to make decisions because i probably shouldnt have 100 goatsâŚ

Martha got mastitis⌠it didnât get too bad, just noticed one side of her udder felt hot and that night we got meds from the vet. By then she wasnt feeling well. We treated her right away and sheâs feeling much better, but classic martha move. Hopefully sheâs a little more stable as just a petâŚ.
I dont have any good recent pictures of the girls, so you get old ones⌠schatzi should be due any time now. She was a twin and this is going to be her first time kidding. Ill update when she kids!
