Teensy bit late but these took me SO LONG. I got way too into the clothing and then the colors continued to give me SO MUCH trouble, but I GOT IT! So. Here’s my interpretation of the rise boys <3
I love @tangledinink ‘s sorry what now au and I love the twins and i’m coming to terms with my femininity so I drew the boys in their fem outfits (go read the fic please it’s so cool)
Modified Donnie’s fit a little bit cause come on you can’t tell me this dork hasn’t ever died their hair purple (totally not projecting) but also that way Leo and him would kinda match (they make me mentally I’ll, I wonder if you could tell /j)

I assumed the turtles found in common pet stores must be the ones native to north America! So that's what I went with for their race

Really wanted to jump in on this for the 40th Anniversary of the TMNT, but I draw slow af, so I'm only doing 2 days, lol. Here's the human designs on their own.
Tried incorporating design elements from several iteration of the turtles, but these guys are first and foremost the 2003 ones (if the intro scene redraw didn't tip you off already, lol), just cuz these turtles are my favorites and I know them best.

How badly will the turtle boys freak out in your rising cloak AU when their magic starts developing (dere ninpo)
SO bad.
They'll only catch the bittiest bits and glimpses of it before Baron Draxum comes to play and the whole curtain gets ripped down, but... To the surprise of no one, Mikey is the first to start to develop any mystic abilities, (see, yoga does pay off!... kinda?) namely in the form of 'accidentally lighting a piece of paper into rather dramatic flames by accident one day while deeply focused on an art piece.' His brothers 1000% do not believe him (Raph, in fact, becomes VERY concerned that his littlest brother is secretly smoking and that this is all a cover story and, later on, tearfully presents a power-point about the danger of cigarettes...)
His dad doesn't really believe him, either, (maybe Mikey did just imagine it or something...? Donnie said there's gotta be a scientific explanation... He's testing for gas leaks as we speak,) but seems... Oddly concerned and forgiving of the whole thing. Mikey was expecting to get in trouble for the burn marks on his desk, but he... Doesn't? Which is weird. But he's sure not gonna complain about not getting grounded!!!
Kinda forgot I made picrews of the rise boys for the Globe-Trotting Turtles cloaking brooch one shot...whoopsies lol. Here they are
They're not 100% accurate to what I was imagining, as is the ways of picrew, but they're as close as I could get (especially the hair...the hair was fucking me up SO BAD when I was making these XD)
