Zim & Dib despite being swapped sides still retain similar personalities. Zim still has this need to be leader of his world, and Dib still has this urge to capture and study all strange phenomena.

Minimoose is either a robot Zim built, or a haunt plushie his dog Gir tends to chew on.

Decided to make human designs for Gir and Zim.

I went for scene vibes for Zim, (I forgot the stripes on his other sleeve oooof) and for Gir, I took some inspiration from Zero from the movie Holes (2003) which is really good and is one of best book to film adaptations I’ve seen. If you’ve never seen it before, I recommend giving it a watch, the book is great too!! :3

I thought it’d be funny if Gir was just some random ass neighborhood kid who followed Zim around like a lost puppy. I decided to make Grayson his actual name cuz I wanted it to start with G and that name came to my mind so that’s what I went with :) Gir is just a funny nickname, no one knows where he got it from.

sometimes people just be like: i dont care about gir and dont want to think about him in this AU so he is relegated to DOG status

and then the other side of he spectrum being like :) they are brothers and love/hate eachother

been really digging the idea of a swap au where zim is a delinquent and annoys the fuck out of dib by making him constantly question everything he’s learned on earth & is just a general pain in his ass
