Look, I get it. I want to like Troll!Jim, I really, really do. It's a beautiful, heartwrenching narrative, but it undermines the themes of the show. Friendship, teamwork, humanity. The themes of the show shouldn't have been thrown out for the sake of a plot-twist. For Jim, losing his humanity (ie, The Deep, but thats a whole new can of worms I'm not going to open) was his biggest fear, and it was a huge sacrifice for him. That's all fine and dandy, but the show was never about sacrifice. Jim deserved a happy ending, and maybe this is just me, but if the writers couldn't give Jim a happy ending for the character, they at least could've done it for Anton.

Today was Jim's and Nat's six-month anniversary and Jim wanted it to be extra special for the aqua teal haired teen. After a few rounds of sweet tortured they were cuddling in their bed with a after glow that was shining on the teens. Soon Jim was nuzzling Nat's chest smiling happily as he peppered it with kisses. Nat was content with this as he nuzzled the green hair teen, "I love you Jim. Happy Anniversary."  Jim smiled happily as he looked up at Nat. "I love you too Nat and I wanna let you know that I will protect you." He stated as he hugged his lover close. Nat smiled as he wrapped his arms around Jim's tiny frame. "Mmmm... and I will do the same for you." Jim smiled as he leans over Nat towards the counter drawer and open it to  get out medium square box and closes it as he hand it to Nat smiling. "Here you go. I saved enough money to get it." Nat's brow creased as he looked at the box and back at Jim. "Y-you didn't have to give me anything Jim... I-I.... I didn't get you anything. I had the whole day planned but it was a better spent anyways." He chuckled as he open the box which contained a new watch and a locket. Jim smiled as he saw Nat taking the watch out. "I noticed that your old one was broken." Nat smiled as he put on the watch on his wrist and kissed Jim sweetly. "Thank you Jim. I have been looking for a new watch, but I haven't found any quite to my liking, but this one is perfect." Nat smiled as he took the locket out and open it seeing a picture of him and Jim smiling as they went on a road trip during the winter break. He then turned to the message engraved into the locket which made him tear up as it read. ~ You are my sunshine~ Jim smiled softly as he laid is head on the pillow as Nat put the locket on him and cuddling him closer, while kissing his forehead and was about to sing the song when Jim stopped him by placing a finger on the aqua teal haired teen's lips and started to sing. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are gray You never know dear, how much I love you So please don't take my sunshine away. Jim smiled as Nat was having tears streaming down on his face as he was thinking that this was the perfect moment. "Nat, ever since we have known each other on that faithful day. I have known that you would etched your way to my heart. I love spending each and every moment with you that it scares me that you will one day leave me but you didn't. You have shown me a different side of you that you never revealed to anyone but to me. I love you soo much that what I am doing is spontaneous and I think that this is the right moment." Jim smiled as he bend over to his backpack and took out a small box with a kid's ring in it and went back to Nat. "Nathan K. Goldberg. I don't have anything valuable to give you but only my heart and it's not flashy but it would make me happy if you would be my husband." Jim smiled as he open the box revealing a cheap kiddy toy ring. "Would you marry me?"
