The camp crystal lake at by c2ndy2c1d def needs more “abused children’ but wholesome characters. I nominate counselor Carrie, and my two favorite overpowered children, samara and Matilda.

I think Carrie and Jason would really bond over people hating them all their life, 

Matilda and samara would just make a great vaudeville comedy duo to be a handful around the camp.  Samara is always smothered in sunscreen and avoiding the sun.  When Jason accidentally jump-scares Carrie her powers go off but he helps her calm down with some breathing exercises and promises to try not to do it again. Oh my god Mama V trying to kill Carrie but telekinetic shenanigans ensue. Also Carrie high key getting major sus vibes from this fanatic sex-hating overbearing mother figure is gold. She could be the friend Jason really needs. Add in some tension of her being on Mama Vs trail and ooooooh.

I know Matilda isn’t a horror character but COME ON she’s so perf. Also ms honey dropping off Matilda and just being gobsmacked by Jason, but charmed as well. Does she become a counselor? Do I ship her with an aged up Carrie but also individually with Jason? Perhaps so. Or she just drops off Matilda and leaves lol I can’t decide.  matilda shyly showing Carrie her powers.  Also samara being afraid of the water from drowning ptsd and Jason helping her out with it even though she snaps at affection like a sharp angry kitten.
