Aslan’s apartment after Layla gave him back the ring. Just like her, he couldn’t stay in that shared apartment so he got a smaller one a few floors below. He couldn’t tell you what it looks like or who picked it out. He just goes inside, eats what was cooked for him, takes his meds, and goes to sleep. He has an office in there which he spends a lot of time in but that’s it. He hates it.

excessiveness ? not in viveka’s life apartment. small is good, small is green, small is cute --- which is as important as the two other points. her apartment is definitely part of the scandi club of the building. she borrows anton’s kitchen.
A sort of bachelor pad –– Gio picked through several apartments, tried picking out a simple one but it just didn’t fit. So, he settled on a storybook version of a bachelor pad. It has pops of colors here and there to draw away from its neutral tones. He loves that his bedroom is an open space ‘balcony’ within the apartment, it also comes with a curtain for privacy – a day he doesn’t want to make up his bed? Have important guests? Pull it. Next door is the bathroom and on the other side is a closet which can’t be considered a ‘walk-in.’ Also, adores the pool table. Giovanni would have rathered a baby grand piano but with them liable to move at a moments notice, he didn’t want it knicked and scratched when being transitioned to storage. The large dining room table wasn’t a necessity, he won’t have enough guests over to use it but, at least, he can rotate which chair he dines out of each night. Still, no office space, he has a bookshelf on the staircase to organize his work, & can use the dining room table if needed.
now, you might be thinking layla isn’t boastful about where she lives but. . . she wanted this space. for a one bedroom apartment, the area is quite large. overall, the apartment has one bedroom, two bathrooms (one in the living room and one in the bedroom), fully equipped kitchen and two dining areas, laundry room, multiple storage rooms, and a terrace.
in the living room, they have a few different sitting areas and use all of them about equally. because of their love of books, the separate reading area was a must and the bookshelves are mostly full. on every couch, chair, bed, whatever you can sit on, you’ll find at least one blanket. they have no shortage and do use them all at some point during any given week. they rarely have the air conditioner running, both of them preferring to open a window than blast cold air.
the kitchen is pictured in the background of the dining room photo. upon first glance, layla was unsure how she felt about the cabinets’ nearly seamless appearance, but now she’s in favor of the design. she’s glad she doesn’t have to stare at appliances when she’s out in the living room. they both use the kitchen, and if you’ve been keeping up with them, you’ll know layla has been teaching aslan common chores so they don’t have to rely on a maid everyday. that said, they do have one come in once a week for general cleaning.
the bedroom is located down the hall, far enough from the main room to not be disturbed by much of the noise. after they moved in, they chose to trade the normal king bed for a california king, opting for the longer mattress so aslan had more space. that large bed and layla still wakes up right beside him.
connected to the bedroom is a large walk-in closet, though it looks more like a dressing room. it houses not one, not two, but three wardrobes and a vanity. aslan and layla each have one wardrobe for themselves and split the other. and yes, they have blankets in the closet. passing through the closet, you’ll find the master bathroom. again, very large space. they have a nicely sized walk-in shower, tub, toilet room, and dual sinks.
not pictured is the terrace. layla really went all out in decorating it to cover most of the concrete. small trees and flowers line the two sides to add color, and the flowers match the color scheme. they have another dining area that seats six in one corner of the terrace and in another, they have a large, round double chaise lounge. this was non-negotiable for layla and it has become her favorite place to read, especially when she’s home alone. she’s prone to falling asleep on it though, and after a couple startling incidents of layla not answering her phone, aslan has learned to check outside before letting his worry take over.
the balcony was a must. she didn’t care about square meters, just about having a balcony --- and a spacious one at that. the kitchen’s not her favourite as it is a bit small but it’s “okay”.

Kitchen is the most important room in the apartment if you ask Zhenya. It’s the second biggest room in the apartment after the living room. She likes to have pretty things around herself and event though buying a lot of decorative pieces is not very smart considering how temporary the living arrangement is, she couldn’t help herself. Gold, black and muted tones dominate the apartment --- white isn’t really a colour if you ask Zhenya.
there was some real effort put into this place. initially, nadya had just planned to paint the walls, hang up some random art pieces, customise the lighting to mood lighting and call it a day. this was meant to be a pit stop in transience after all. but then she realised that dubai commoditises the concept of fame, royalty and the exclusive. after she vacates, the place could easily be sold for triple — quadruple its asking price. a chance to stay in the picturesque — fit for a russian princess, with handpicked detailing.
it was an opportunity not to be wasted. resale profit could go to a beneficiary of her choosing, and a budding designer she believed had the potential to be great would be catapulted into the world stage with this collaboration of theirs. why not ?
and so what you see here was put together, by a russian-ukrainian designer that nadya would be bold enough to call friend. the pieces were chosen by nadya herself, most of her personality bleeds into the tasteful furnishings and the colossal art-pieces. extra. bold. yet somehow coolly indifferent and sophisticated all the same.
there are three bedrooms and a fully equipped game system and record player for vinyl records with hidden speakers throughout the space. kostya spends a lot of time here. the leather seats are his favourite when nadya has a convertible desk rolled in to house his laptop and papers.
Michael doesn’t need flashy things but he does like excellence. His apartment is two bedrooms, a master and one he turned into an office for himself. It’s equipped with the latest technology in computing and security, has plenty of screens, and is set up so he can have video conferences. The kitchen is a good size and it opens to the dining room. He has someone come in and meal prep for him and he tries to cook for himself when he can. The living room is cosy and has a balcony off it.
The bedrooms are on the other side of the front hall and there’s nothing particularly fancy about the master bedroom or the bathroom. The master has a well-equipped entertainment system, as does the living room, and the house is wired with a security system and a speaker system that you can Bluetooth your phone to for music. He’s thought about retiling the bathroom but frankly, he doesn’t mind the blue that much.
