Greatest holiday memories for the blorbos? Any of your choice
Goin' HSH-verse on this one. And as I answered it turned out more like "what's their favorite part of the holiday," which still fits, right???
Twilight - Tree trimming is probably his favorite. His mom and dad would lift him up to put ornaments on the higher parts of the tree, and as he became older (and taller), he would be the one to pick Colin up and help him. Holidays were a bit more tense when Colin spent them in the hospital, but without fail there was always a massive tree in the childen's ward that would get packed with presents for all the kids on the floor, as well as their siblings. So a tree, to him, always represents the magic of the winter holiday that will reach you no matter where you are.
Wild - Baking tons and tons of cookies for his friends and orchestrating a massive homey feast is DEFINITELY Wild's favorite, and his first was the Solstice celebration in Termina. He commandeers the kitchen on a normal day, but around the holiday time the roommates need special permits to get in and out, and anything they remove from the refrigerator or the pantry needs to be audited. He learned the hard way not to trust the others around chocolate kisses.
Warriors - Although receiving gifts is truly his favorite part of the holidays, War's favorite memories are those spent wrapping presents. There's something so satisfying about wrapping the perfect package, selecting a coordinating ribbon, and curling it juuust right. His sister was always horrendous at wrapping things, so together the two of them would spend an evening shut in one of their rooms with a holiday movie on and mugs of warm cocoa, Linkle making snide comments about the movie while Warriors laughed along and wrapped both of their sets of gifts.
Sky - Tabanthan winter holidays are more centered around food and togetherness than they are gift-giving, thus he has such a damn hard time figuring out what to get for Sunny each year. As a kid, Sky loved being part of winter concerts where he could sing and, as he got older, play in the orchestra. They were always followed with incredible feasts where the entirety of the Academy got to sit down at long tables and share dishes family-style, and the headmaster would read the Solstice story for them all before they went off to bed. That will forever be a warm memory in Sky's heart.
Wind - To this day, he will travel back to Outset to visit with Aryll and his grandmother for Solstice, because inland holidays kind of suck. It's way too cold, there's too much snow, and Wild's a good cook and all but he's got nothing on grandma's Solstice dishes. But the best part of spending the Solstice on Outset are the bonfires that start as the longest night of the year begins and burn through to the dawn of the following day. There's singing, there's dancing, performances, walks around the neighborhoods to see everyone's homes decorated for the season. Wind wouldn't trade the winter holidays on Outset for anything.
Four - He has some memories of holidays spent tearing open presents under the tree, always fighting for his share of gifts lest one of his brothers take what was meant for him. That's all he's got, though, and the holidays never really meant much to him after. Life continues on, shitty as it can get, no matter the season. Four didn't really celebrate Solstice again until he started living with the others in Termina, and even then he was always more interested in competitive 'traditions', having been the one to suggest the Mistletoe Jar.
Hyrule - Growing up Calatian, Hyrule enjoyed the advent season traditions. Lighting the advent wreath each week and learning what the different colors of the candles represented, following along with a calendar that hid sweet treats for each day of the month, it all built up this sense of joyful anticipation for the holidays. He didn't celebrate Solstice, per se, but he is more than happy to take part in Solstice traditions with the roommates. They're not all that different from what he was used to anyway.
Legend - Legend remembers bits and pieces of Solstice celebrations with his parents, with Uncle Alfon. The Morterra tradition holds a special place in his heart, though. Even if its a bittersweet practice, it doesn't feel right to let the holidays pass and the year come to a close without honoring the ones he's loved and lost. It's filled in a piece of his heart that he'd unsuccessfully tried to fill with vices in years past. So even if the others might poke fun at a tradition they don't understand, it brings Legend some peace, and that peace is precious.
Time - He never had any holiday traditions to speak of, really. They don't do much in the way of celebrations at youth detention centers, and the holidays with his family growing up were kind of disjointed. It wasn't until he and Malon became more serious that Malon invited him to spend Solstice with her and Talon that first year, and it really changed his perspective on the holidays. The decorations, the presents, the cooking, Malon was in to ALL of it, and that carried over when they started living together. Now, all the holidays make him think about is her, which was incredibly painful for him those first years apart. But Time does love gift-giving, and now that he has so many to buy for, well, it keeps him busy for the entire season.
