❛❛ i want you to not be such a dick, ❜❜ shane snipes, but it falls woefully flat, because it seems like he can’t get enough air into his lungs to put real gravity behind the words. his shirt is off ; he’s crowded against iIya’s still clothed form and feels the buttons on his stupid, flimsy blouse extremely keenly — like pressure points or acupuncture needles, pressing coolly into his chest and stomach. sometimes, iIya treats him like a fish left on the long line, and he doesn’t reel him in until shane’s done enough wriggling to let him know he really, really wants to be pulled from the water now.
and sometimes, shane wonders about that. yes, it’s hot. he likes it, even if he pretends he doesn’t. and iIya likes it too, probably enjoys the power he takes from it, from shane asking nicely, saying please and thank you. but maybe, sometimes, iIya doesn’t just do it because it’s hot. maybe, sometimes, it’s to soothe some kind of doubt. that, more than the waiting game, has shane frustrated tonight. just tell me, he thinks, stubbornly, brows drawing together and eyes boring into ilya’s face as if he could burn the thought into his head via telekinesis. when that doesn’t work, he nudges iIya’s ribs with his knuckles, tugs at the garish fabric billowing around his muscled upper body. ❛❛ are you really asking right now? or just being a dick. ❜❜
