Dobby dies. Dumbledore dies. Sirius dies. Harry is able to keep going with his head high, but when Fred Weasley dies Harry wonders why the world hasn't stopped. Why the war hadn't stopped in an instant. Why no one was backing off now that Fred was head.
He pulls himself together when they're attacked again, but I've always thought it meant a lot that Harry is entirely wrecked by Fred - Fred, who was like a big brother to him. Harry's lost fatherlike figures and friends, but it's his brother that knocks the wind out of him.
