This is a photo of my arrow making kit. I thought I would give a close up view :-) To watch a short video explaining the kit in more detail, click my @naturalbowwoman bio link to go to my Youtube channel. An important piece that is missing I use most of the time is a piece of arrow shaft end left over from previously cut shafts. This gives a quicker method to measure which length of shaft I need to cut depending on my draw size I'd be using the new arrow for. It is a better and more efficient way than the tape measure, I think ;-) Other differences in this kit would be: Size, shape & species type of the fletchings, Fletching thread, I usually use various colours of sewing thread it is about 1mm thick when I measure it with a ruler. I intend to try others, silk really appeals to me to try next. Fletching Glue, again I rarely use but have done in the past A fletching jig, I rarely use one but I won't rule it out. Shafts would not always be stained or painted, I sometimes simply use linseed oil, Points & Piles would be different weights & styles, Glue for the points & piles, I usually use screw on, but will be using different types soon which need to be glued. Scissors, for when I trim some fletchings into the size & shape I want. That's all I can think of for now. :-) I have made various tutorials on arrow making, just click my @naturalbowwoman bio link to watch them. . . . . #archerycraft #archerydiy #arrowmaking #arrowmakingkit #howimake #howto #makeyourownarrows #makeyourownstuff #myarcherykit #mykit #naturalbowwoman #selfsufficieny #thsisit #traditionalarcher #traditionalarchery #whatiuse #woodcraft #woodworking #woodenarrows #womanarcher
