For our in-event challenge, we’ll be doing a special anon ‘night’. For those unfamiliar with an anon night it simply involves receiving and sending out anonymous questions that are to be answered in character, simple and fun! As we’re currently having a Valentines event the challenge is simple, all questions must either be romantic/relationship-orientated or SMH (snog, marry, hex) questions! This anon ‘night’ will be continued for the rest of the event, giving players a few days to send as many questions to each other as they like. To take part simply post a link to your ask box (one link for each character if you have multiple) and add ‘houseofchallenge’ in the tags! Just remember that the way anon nights work is that you have to send questions out as much as you receive them, if you notice certain players answering less questions then send some there way to keep the ball rolling, we know ask limit’s a pain but we’re giving everyone a number of days to send and receive as many as they possibly can!

All of our characters are magical beings. However, they are also individuals, and they each possess unique life experiences that have shaped their powers and abilities in different ways. That being said, they are also still students. No one is yet a master of the magical craft; they are all still learning and developing as witches and wizards.

For this challenge, we want you to consider your character's strengths and weaknesses from a magical perspective. In what areas of magic do they excel? What experiences from their past and/or aspects of their personality do you think contribute to this strength? In what areas of magic do they struggle? What experiences from their past and/or aspects of their personality do you think translate into magical weakness?

Thinking about these things will help us create diverse and well-rounded characters, and help you to focus on how your character's unique abilities and experiences might all come into play during future plot. If your character has a more rare or advanced ability (Sight, wandless magic, Vampirism, Animagus form, etc.) you can also use this challenge to flesh out the details and limitations of your headcanons regarding this power. Note: Rare or advanced abilities not mentioned in a character's bio must be submitted to the main and are subject to admin approval.
