#horse assignment

i have to give you fresian, or a horse breed descending off fresians for your mark grayson posting. they are one of the most incestuously bred horses to the extent almost every fresian suffers health problems from this. they were saved from extinction by the severe inbreeding and refusal to bring in secondary/tertiary horse breeds in name of keeping the bloodline 'pure', rolls my eyes, so here we are.

since i want your horse to be a grulla (a very pretty grey coat), i will have to debate on what breed, because fresians are only allowed to be registered as fresian if they're fully black. if you wanna be a fresian though i will find an adequate photo but tbh fresians are boring aside from their incest lore to me because they all look the same.

this one really caught my eye while scrolling the limited options on the horse auction sites i go on to find horses for these horse assignments XD its coat is really stunning, its a 3yro stallion. this one was born in april :-) for some crazy reason he's listed as tobiano—he is not tobiano based on a visual examination OIDASOJDASO i think he's blood bay tbh? I do see some super slight spotting but nothing like a tobiano has with huge blocks of colour. it's more like slight dappling or maybe primitive markings. either way its a gorgeous horse. i also had this one catch my eye:

you are this paso fino mare, who is nine years old and therefore a younger adult. she's a perlino, that's the name of her coat colouring.

paso fino's are a puerto rican horse breed, theyre not too big and they have a great gait that allows for easy trail riding. There's also a colombian paso but it's a different breed despite the similar name, however they get bred together pretty often in the usa.
