I was kinda but not really into it for the first few episodes, then ep 5 established that Pomni is just kind of a bitch and then ep 6 came out and it was just like. Oh! They're BOTH assholes when given the opportunity and they should absolutely be terrible together! They make each other worse and also better but only for each other 💕

HI.... i played remake and got hopelessly obsessed with cloud so i played all of og and got hopelessly obsessed with everyone and now i'm here. i really really really really like cloud/barret and its killing me how little fan content of them there is and i'm trying to write something myself but i'm in a writing slump so it's going slowly. i honestly dont want to draw attention to my blog or be a Person with Posts Going Around that badly (the homestuck post having like 500 notes is already making me squirrelly enough that im considering turning reblogs off), but you (and anyone else reading) 100% have my blessing to copypaste that into your own post and make any dehomestucking edits you wish

However, if we're talking IDW1 then I absolutely loathe it. It not only goes against the canon text, but also against the themes and basically everything I like about this continuity. There's nothing special about being Prime, this was one of the things both Barber and Robert's works agreed on. Literally all of exRID/OP was about how no one should have that kind of power. It ruins the OP ending, it ruins Optimus' character, it ruins Rodimus' character, it ruins the "good enough" speech. Rung was A Guy, he has special powers but he is not divine, he is A Guy. The 13 Primes, with whom this whole idea started, sucked. The Legacy of the Primes cannot be salvaged. The Primacy as we know it today started with Nova Prime, who majorly sucked, who was also a true matrix bearer. Given that last point I don't think we should pretend that bauble is really a judge of some vague quality of nobility, instead of just something that reacts to whether you yourself think you're worthy.

eta: i was wrong, I did write one! Project Forging Chains was going to be a Decepticon-Leader!Optimus Prime and Autobot-Leader!Megatron fic but I ran out of steam and also it's not that good. Don't read it.

And yes, like. There is so much to be said about the Witchers and sexuality, and I don't mean sexuality as in just orientation, but all the other aspects from being seeing as both grotesque but also a prize or accomplishment. Not to mention the way that sex work is discussed or the effects of the trails/hrt on witchers and their sex drive in the books, where we see Geralt sleeping with sex workers and treating them with the upmost respect, and you know, not shaming them for their work and the sex workers likewise not shaming witchers for their bodies or work. (The parallels made between sex workers and witchers is enough for its own article to be honest)
