Ask again where Zine may of gone.
{[ASK]: [”What can you tell us about Zine Moonlace?”]}
Jay and Cal climb down from the roof and the tension finally passes.It seems that Jay is willing to break their contract with Zine for now, but you aren’t sure how long that will last.
You decide to take advantage of this momentary cease-fire and help Cal get the information they need.
Jay takes a moment to clear their throat. They glance about to make sure no one is listening and they look very uncomfortable. Whatever information they have must be pretty serious.
A living family member? You remember Cal mentioned Zine used to have a sibling. Maybe that is who they are talking about. So it seems the [Honespec Capital City] is now on your list of future destinations.
That is a good point. Getting to Honespec on foot is very dangerous, of course if Cotten can get that airship working the trip would be a fair sight easier.
Cal and Jay shake hands, agreeing to keep this moment a secret.
Jay gives you a slight nod to signal an end to this conversation. They cross their arms awkwardly and look away.
It seems you and Cal finally have a set goal in terms of finding Zine. You make a mental note of what Jay told you.

Cal turns to face you and Gestalt, the bright smile on their face stays up for about half a word. As they try to speak their expression turns more and more distraught until they appear to be on the verge of tears.
This is a lot of information for Cal to process at once. At the same time they look both relieved and terrified. First off, a new family member might not be dead, and Zine might not be alive.
Cal adjusts their rifle and takes a deep breath. They turn away from you to face the exit. They don’t look like they want to talk at the moment, but you are still worried about your friend.
