Attempt to help calm down other kids, based on what you could remember from the caretakers calming you down/what they are currently doing. Although, probably fail.
You are of the same age, with not enough experience to calm down another, but the attempt is, hopefully appreciated by both caretakers and other kids alike.

Fortuna rolls a 20-sided die… a 16 is rolled.
You notice a child with a bird-like face similarly on the brink of tears as the next steps of life loom overhead. Your shorter height makes it a little harder to traverse through the crowds, but you do manage to reach them. Gently, you place a hand on theirs, and they lift their head a little to face you.
“Hey, it’ll be okay, okay? We aren’t gonna be alone. We’re all gonna have each other. =3”
They sniffle a bit, bringing their hand under their face for a moment to wipe the tears forming.
“O… okay-ay… It’s gon-gonna be fi-ine, right? OvO”
“Mhm, long as we all got each other. =3”
They place a hand atop yours and nod. You feel a bit better about yourself.
New trait gained: [Compassionate] - This character is not only considerate of others, but is also very understanding of other's issues. This person is good at seeing things from other's points of view and seeing how people's issues would make them feel. Others may want to talk to this character about their problems as they will understand, and may feel bad for them and try to comfort them. However, their sensitive side means it may be easier to hurt this character's feelings.
Soon enough, it’s time to board the bus. You approach it as its doors open with a hiss. The driver looks towards you.
“Where to? 3D”
You fumble around trying to find your ticket, but you do eventually find it in your pocket.
“Uh, Crow’s Nest? =3”
“Got it. But ya gotta say it with some gusto next time, kid. 3D”
You board the bus, now standing at the front.

You navigate down to "Field Engineering for Dum-Dums" and feels like a months worth of reading a large print text in headache form fills your think-pan. Are you reading or more remembering? Either way, you're not sure what's up with that but you feel all the more able to field strip a rifle, fix a carburetor, and figure out the tensile strength of a manufactured bridge. Good on you. Your basic competency went up.
Don't let it go to your head. And for the interesting experiment "Mental Democracy" was, you're pretty sure you're gonna stick with "Go with the first loudest thought that pops into your head."

Go Inward

With some effort, you are able to squeeze through the crack in the massive wooden gate.
The atmosphere inside the castle is damp and oppressive. You feel like you can barely get a full breath of air because of all the dust.
As soon as you enter, you notice the strange dilapidated architecture and the two [Skeletons] wearing the rotting remains of soldier uniforms. One lies in a heap on the stone floor, the other appears to be lashed to a copper [Gear Mechanism] that controls the door.
A [Soldiers Spear] is embedded between two of the inner gears, permanently locking the entire device in place. It seems like this was the result from a final desperate attempt to keep the gates closed. The rotting [Ropes] coated in dust in the rafters overhead, unused after all this time.
A regal looking [Coat of Arms] dangles limply from a banner, but you do not recognize the pattern. It depicts two golden spears crossed over small intricate shield.There are no signs of Gestalt or Cal so far, and the many [Footprints] in the dust seem to scatter in all directions.You're mission is clear:
Find Cal and Gestalt.
Find the Potentate's Crown.
Leave before Nightfall.
Don’t touch anything that looks even remotely cursed.
Don’t die.
Seems easy enough.
The [OUTWARD] path leads back to the [Mist Castle Gate Entrance]
A small wooden door leads [INWARD] towards the [Border Checkpoint Office] and has a small stone [Gargoyle] perched above it.
The [RIGHT] path leads deeper into the castle towards the [Grand Hall Ruins 2]
