Walk to the right while sticking to the group as much as possible. Hopefully luck will be on our side.
With as much confidence as you can muster, you climb onto the [Worn Stone Bridge] and start walking towards the Castle. You can already see from here that fog gets thicker up ahead, hiding the castle from view.
The stone and wood creaks under you boots, it clearly hasn’t been repaired in a long time. One small detail you notice, is the sheer amount of fresh boot and cart wheel tracks visible in the dust. Regardless of how old this bridge is, it seems that there are still people are still crossing through here.
By now you are so high up you cannot see the river below you, but you can just barely hear the rushing water below. It sounds far more violent than the river you and Cal swam across to get to the [Junkyard] a few days ago.
You come across your first landmark on the bridge. The smashed wooden remains of some [Scaffolding] juts out of bridge, a stone [Weight] held up with rotting ropes. The weight is acting as a counter balance for a large [Brass Bell]. The wind is starting to pick up, and the bell sways gently back and forth.
The bell makes a small *tink* *tink* *tink* each time the bell changes directions.
Both the bell and the weight look rather heavy, and you suspect if either fell, they could cause a lot of structural damage to the already flimsy bridge. That is not very comforting.
