I might be homeless soon or thrown in a group home or institution and I donāt know what to do. I was never taught anything like how to do taxes or bills or bus routes or anything. My parents raised me to be codependent on them for so long and now that Iām turning 18 and still their āproblem childā and suddenly they want me to be āindependentā again but are doing Jack to actually help. Help two poor rural queers in Appalachia?
Hi, my partner ended up homeless. Weāre with my parents rn but the situation is precarious at best. The last person he crashed with ended up hitting our kitten so hard she had a raised bump on her back, she needs to see the vet since itās getting worse (also for flea medicine, getting vaccinated, spayed, de wormed, all the necessary) but the cheapest visit rn is ~$75 before meds. She has some kind of vestibular issue, and Iām worried sheās gonna spread both fleas and anything she might have had on the street to my parents cats. I have 2 jobs, one at a kennel where I can barely get $100/week. The second one is at a restaurant that I just started this week. Heās working on getting one and has 2 interviews this week. I need non slip shoes for work ($20), and a tank of gas ($40 we have no public transportation in this area and my jobs are 30 and 45 minutes away respectively). He needs his meds ($20). To make it the next week before we get paid we need $156. Anything helps, I can give a tarot reading or make you an acrylic painting or even do like custom nudes and stuff.
