#homework assignment

basically my teacher told my class to write an ending of a mystery case using exactly or less than 200 words that can explain the case logically, surprise readers and leave them satisfied with an underlying message that the crime doesnt pay. The school would select 50 of those essays and they would get some kind of reward for it idk what it is tho. I have not wrote stories in so long and idk what im doing with this(english isnt even my first language)

Title: The culprit is you!

ending paragraph:

“The culprit is.. you!” I say pointing at the student intern, her face drains of color, knees going limp as she falls to the ground, a shocked expression pasted on her face. “Why would I even do that, it would’t even benefit me in any way” She tries to reason, but it falls on deaf ears “You wanted to steal the jewel not for yourself, but to get revenge on the museum curator,” I explain, “for bring the cause of your sisters suicide, or should I say, murder.” Gasps break out in the vault, everyone stunned at the fact. “After you found out that he had killed your sister, you blackmailed him with that information, filling his emails everyday with threats of exposing him, but of-course he just laughed it off, and when you tried to turn to the police they thought you were joking.” I finish turning to gaze at the once petrified student, face now turned into an unreadable experiment. “Fine it was me but you’ll never find out how I did it.” “Oh but I do, you obviously couldn't have done it alone that would be insane, so you needed a partner maybe even partners, one person had to be near the electrical generator to shut the power down, while the other stole the gem and handed it to you so that it could look like an in & out situation, and who had access to those areas other than the museum curator? The security guard and the art restorer, your parents.”

For my children's lit course, we were assigned to read Legendborn and it fascinated me to look at how Bree fits into the world. At first glance, she not the average lead. She is a person of color, she just wants to go to college, and the only reason she wanted to get involved with magical society was because of her mom's connection to them. But the more I though about it, she also fits really well into more typical the hero's journey troupes. She dives into the unknown with much hesitation to only discover that she is a chosen one figure.

I finally finished doing the timing assignment. I had to do ten 30 seconds drawings, ten 2 minute ones, and five 5 minute ones. I did a few along with the teacher on the video just to see if I could by example. Consistency has been the strongest contender on learning how to handle flow with my pencil when looking at lines of action of each appendage it's conveyed in.

What you need:

Paper

Color pencils 

A pen 

A stickynote or small piece of paper. 

Step 1.) Think of last week and what difficulties you experienced the most. What I wrote: Being undisciplined and feeling empty (like stuck in a void) 

Step 2.) Write down the nasty criticism you gave yourself because of it  What I wrote: You’re useless,  you are a failure etc &  heavy but empty head, body feels ditached from itself etc.

Step 3.) Visualise your difficulty in any form on the paper!              You don’t have to be an Artist, so don’t put pressure on yourself.  What I drew: Lazy girl for undisciplined and sweater with no one wearing it for emptyness.

Step 4.) Write down a healthy “adult” message you would give yourself: What I wrote: Take your time.You CAN do this, because you are a trooper. It’s alright to feel empty sometimes,  I am proud of how far you’ve come, etc etc,

Get as creative as you want! But don’t Forget to include de positive and supportive messages
