We drove all the way across the USA from Brooklyn to Oakland, and for our final day on the road we picked very special matching thrift store outfits.

Last night, we tried to act normal for Audacia’s extended family in Phoenix. We started by making a long list of things about ourselves we would *not* be talking about in the car. Luckily, Audacia’s family are experts in avoidant small talk. Success!

Every good fake town needs a brothel and a funeral home.

Sometimes self care talk is violent in its isolation, and sometimes all you need is good therapy and a hot tub.

This morning we got Thunderbolt, or the Tower in the Rider Waite deck: "this inner earthquake is both necessary and tremendously important - if you allow it, you will emerge from the wreckage stranger and more available for new experiences."
