Delightful cake pops shaped like festive birdies wearing Santa hats, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients: 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice. 1 cup of frosting flavor of your choice. 1 package of candy melts red. 1 package of candy melts white. 1 package of candy melts black. Edible candy eyes. Small red candies for birdie noses. Lollipop sticks. Mini marshmallows.
Instructions: Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Add frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until it reaches a dough-like consistency. Shape the mixture into small birdie shapes with pointed beaks and attach lollipop sticks to each one. Melt the red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions. Dip each birdie into the melted red candy, ensuring an even coating. Allow excess to drip off. Place a mini marshmallow on top for the Santa hat, pressing it gently onto the birdie's head. Melt the white candy melts and create the fluffy trim of the Santa hat by drizzling it around the base of the marshmallow. Using melted black candy melts, add small dots for eyes and attach edible candy eyes on top. Place a small red candy at the tip of each birdie's beak for the nose. Allow the cake pops to set completely before serving.
