Hi ^^ don't worry, it's not weird.

I'm actually an improvised moderator : nobody asked me anything, least of all Mod, I just began to boost messages, and then it turned into discussing with people, calming some of them down (it's vital that everyone stays as professional as possible, for Mod's sake but also ours) or reassuring others (on both sides), debunking info that struck me as bad faith, trolling, or just a case of simply not knowing any better...

And then I realized apparently it boosted people's morale ? And I also started to see SMG4-side fans showing support, or feeling guilt for liking Mr Puzzles or their fandom and - it was just sad, you know ? That they, too, were suffering for the actions of a bunch of complete pricks. We can't put them in the same basket. It's not their fault. Everyone has a right to enjoy any character they want !

So, from it all, before I knew, people were starting to ask me stuff, and I started answering, and... here we are ^^ I was just as surprised as everyone else.

Like, okay, Glitch/SMG4 Crew aren't answering, but as long as we don't know the full story, I can't react accordingly, and we can't play the blame game. What I know, though, 100%, it's that it's all the haters' fault. Mod suffered the most out of us all, and for the longest, because of them, but what the haters did also had an impact on everyone around : the VAs, the fans, the animators... We're all in this mess because of the haters.

As for knowing Mod, I came to consider them a friend (and from what I got, it's reciprocated ? You'd have to ask them) over the 2 years we've been exchanging mails for my translation of TPoH in French (here) - I wanted to make sure I got everything right (asking me for spoilers is useless : I don't want any spoilers so I don't know more than the average reader). But yeah, as their translator, they know me and I know them, through the Internet. We never met face to face, if that's your question, and I don't think it's necessary ?

Plus, friend or not, translator or not, I'll always chose a real person's well-being over a fictional character's appearance.

But long story short, nope, they didn't ask anything of me - the same goes for the translation, by the way : I asked them if I could translate, and got the go - I'm doing all this on my own volition, and Mod is not responsible for any of my actions : I'm the only one to own up to my own actions.

Improvising myself as a moderator is all me, Mod had nothing to do with that ^^ and I want to contribute in helping everyone impacted out of the storm.

The only ones I have any contempt for are the haters. And if they wanna target me, they better be ready.

Oh, oh thanks - seriously you're all giving me so kind messages, it's just - aaaaah ;w; Just to say I'm simply one out of many people, and, yeah, since I'm very human, I try to make sure I have enough rest. It's gonna be a long thing, for which we'll need stamina, and that rule applies to me too.

Thanks for the reminder ! I'm so thankful for you guys, I love this fandom and the people that compose it, I'm so delighted to be part of it. You guys make all of this so worth it.
