{~🔥  The silence is very near palpable, Roy watches Riza with a steady gaze. Nose wrinkling above the bridge slightly before he reaches his hand out slide knight over the board. 

"That's not how you get Gracia to love you."

{~💥  Feeling those fingers intertwine with his, ignoring the slowly dulling pain in his palms, Roy lightly arched his fingers so they rest on the back of her hand. Feeling her there with him, calmed him. All the chaos around him can only be heard and kind of sends him into a slight panic as he cannot make heads or tails with what is going on. 

  Being unable to see, surrounded by sheer darkness all the time is unnerving and he still desires to open his eyes and see the light but....there is not even that much. 

                                                     Total darkness, and he hates it. 

      “How are you Lieutenant? How are your wounds?” 

  Trying to find something to focus on other than his new handicap, trying to figure out how exactly he can move forward with his lack of sight. For how can a man lead his country if he cannot even see the desk or papers in front of him. 

As somewhat of a peace offering, he placed the plush dog that he had been carrying in one of his mouths down in front of him, giving it a nudge towards Hayate to show he wasn’t a threat to him or his master. He wanted to show that he meant no harm and was only curious of the two. 

“Whatever it is, officer, Lee probably did it.”

After the accident, the blonde was broken in every single way. He had no desires anymore, and desperately wanted to die and join the one he lost. Sitting up in the hospital bed, he pushed away the food in front of him, almost sending it to the floor. Frowning he pushed his head back against the pillow, reaching up to touch the bandages that covered his eyes.
