Thoughts I had on the image miniorities fear to have.
It really makes you think when your family worries much more about how the public perceives them if there child so much as utters a curse word. Even if they are well into their teen years. Simply due to the irrational fear that they’ll be looked at as “Those type of minorities” “Ghetto kind” “Just another vulgar minority” Will a simple curse word,outfit,phrase or friend truly make people ignore my worth and deem me simply as a minority.
I understand were they are coming from, but is it really okay to monitor my own life more so that I have in my past due to finally becoming an adult?
