Some brands/products from the Melbourne Fitness & Health expo that I thought were cool:
1. Adrenaline Hit - The way the lady described this was “a more relaxed version of crossfit” which sounds perfect to me! She gave me a free session there to try it out which I’ll definitely go to. I have already paid my current gym membership until May 2016 so I wont be signing up to anything new but it’ll certainly be interesting to go to.
2. RM Sports - They had a really cool skipping rope... I mean I only stopped to look at it because it was pink but the guy totally sold me on it. It’s like super durable and you can get these coil things for like $2 that protect the rope when you’re using it on concrete so it doesn’t wear out. Considering buying one but not sure yet.
3. Be4Life - You’ve probably all seen people with like fruit and stuff in their water to make it flavoured?? Well these were special Drink bottles that have a section to hold the fruit. They were half price at $15 so I couldn’t resist!
4. MediBalls - Okay so like, I’m aware this product is a bit weird, but I’m a nurse and I can’t resist checking things out if they could help my patients. So they’re like balls for women, you put them in the vagina and they weigh 45g each and you just have to hold them in for a bit and the muscles strengthen. The lady goes to me “Oh I had a customer last week who had been using them for a while and she told me her husband noticed the difference before she did!”. So maybe a little too much information but hey, it’s interesting right?
5. Hipssister - These were elastic kind of belt things that stay in place during exercise and hold your stuff! They looked really handy but the lady was really pushy and wanting me to buy one so in the end I told her I’d come back a bit later (I didn’t). Anyway I ended up getting an email from them saying I’d won one! So it should arrive in the mail soon!
