People who sit for extended periods of time (so pretty much the majority of us!) increase our chances in developing tight hip flexors (me!). When hip flexors are tight, we can experience pain in our lower back and hips. Ideally you should take a couple minutes everyday and do this circuit to see if it helps with your lower back pain! Lower back pain can be cause by a number of different things, but tight hip flexors could be one of them. This circuit includes stretches and exercises that relax and strengthen the hip flexors to allow us to have proper recruitment patterns and get our abs firing when they should. Do those movements on a daily basis, low intensity and just practice connecting to your abs!
