is there anything to say if transformers are affected by radiation, and if they are how theyre affected? i swear one of the movies said something about this but i cant remember :/ thank you!!
You might be thinking of Energon radiation, which Simmons was able to detect using a Sector 7 device and deduce that both Sam and Mikaela had come into contact with Cybertronians.
Although the live-action film series never went beyond this, energon radiation did play a major role in the Beast Wars cartoon: in this universe, the radiation produced by energon in its basest state caused Cybertronians to “short out” if they stayed in robot mode too long, forcing all of the Maximals and Predacons to adopt organic beast modes to survive while stranded on prehistoric Earth.
