Beautiful fall evening out on the #hightrestletrail and #neilsmithtrail! Wind was out of the north at 6-8 the whole night! My legs were feeling it! So it was hammer time! Going in to today’s ride in had no clue how I would feel since I was up a good chunk of the night! Today was day three of three on the bike this week! It’s been a big week so far with my 5000th mile and my 10000th mile on Saturday! I wonder how that milestone will happen? Had a fun day off riding roads and high trestle trail. I started off asking myself “why” since my legs felt like jello. I rode a 17 mile loop to the high Trestle Trail. Then I rode i rode north to Woodward and had lunch at Cayannes cafe! Lunch was a 8” pepperoni and sausage pizza, with mountain and water to drink. No red pepper on the pizza so I could ride back home without a bathroom stop. I still stopped on the way back though. I stopped in slater for a coke and finished with a head-cross wind off my left shoulder. I started with a cross-tailwind for the first 34 miles.
