It's been a week and two days since I last rode with Felicitas at #highpointfarm and JUST TODAY I felt my left seat bone stop. . What does this mean and why should you care? Well, it means something NEW I learned took 9 days, over 45 rides and LOTS of frustration before I finally felt the moment my left seat bone STOPPED tipping and I was able to move it again on my own. . It was something I was struggling with that whole weekend while training. I was trying too hard or moving/responding too slow or not even moving my left seat bone at all when thinking I was. Part of me was salty, I thought Felicitas was ruthlessly picking at me but the other part of me said, "Shut up and listen to the expert you admire and are paying to push you to be better!". . Since getting home it's all I've focused on. "Tipping a mounting block" with my seat bones, steering better from my pelvis and core and getting better quality from less aids and it is only now just showing itself! If you are the type of rider who rides in a clinic and never gives the work another thought... WHY? You may have shown up to the clinic and been seen by your friends but your hard work has only just begun! If you want to get better you have to get frustrated with yourself and PUSH HARDER. .
