Okay, I'm being deliberately obvious, but let me explain myself; simple is good, complexities are better.  It's no secret that there are more opportunities for smart people as intelligence can open doors and beget propositions that would otherwise not be available.

Intelligence helps solve problems and inspires intellectual pursuits which in turn keep the problem-solving ability sharp and intact.

Having a base understanding of critical thinking prevents you from being taking advantage of.
