Today I did Akari from How I Became a Pokemon Card. Akari is a trans boy. In his chapter of HIBAPC, his mom gives him a Pikachu for his birthday after he begged for a Pokemon, hoping it will help him become more feminine. He gets really mad because he wanted someone cool and partially takes it out on the Pikachu, but after Pikachu saves him he realizes that coolness isn't as objective as he thought and Pikachu was "cool". His friend is supportive of him being trans in the story, and when he gets mad at Akari it is because Akari is being a bad person with how he is getting mad about Pikachu.
