After much anticipation.... The physical release is finally here! This book is a whopping 367 pages, 127,000+ words, and every aspect of this novel has been lovingly crafted over the span of 5 years.

The first book in my LGBTQ+ slowburn romance series is about a teenager who washes up into a small mountain town looking to lay low, only to find himself drowning in theatrical loss, intimate romance, and inescapable fate 💘

howdy folks! long time no update!

while i've been rather quiet on this front, i've been making lots of progress with Heart Hollow. here's what I've been working on:

Book I officially released for retail sale on 05/15/2026 🎉 purchase it on Lulu (preferred by the author 💕) or on Amazon (where it's also available on Kindle!)

Hardcover for Book I is in the works, but it's sorta on the backburner for now 😬 aiming for a Holiday Season 2026 release :)

Book II has begun the drafting stage!!!! woohoo!!! it's sitting at 22,000+ words, 5-ish chapters, and 69 pages 🤭

for my beta readers: the first few chapters of Book II have NOT been posted to AO3 yet.... it's extremely rough right now, and I have a strong feeling these first few chapters are going to change quite a bit as I move through the book. deff look forward to an update regarding B2Ch1: "Changing Seasons" 🍂

on a personal note...... Book II (which has been officially titled Divine Descent) is coming along really nicely, and it's beyond thrilling to finally get back into WRITING!!! Book I was in the editing/finalizing phase for A YEAR AND A HALF 😭😭😭 it's been so long since i've written anything truly Heart Hollow related (aside from Drabbles), and good GOD is it cathartic 💕 plus... Z&L's relationship enter a really fun, more than co-workers, kinda flirty phase in Book II that is just a delight to see play out :)))

that being said! please expect some wip snippets from Book II soon 😊

hi everybody!! happy 2026!! it's been a productive year so far!

here's everything i've been working on since the last update:

the physical release of Heart Hollow is still in copyright office purgatory....... as soon as they release it from their wretched hands i am ready to go to my publisher!!!

the entirely of book 1 has been updated on AO3 to accurately reflect what's going to be in the print version! small tweaks, a few new scenes, and some chapter reformatting. Court Date: Part II got a major overhaul to be a bit more concise and exciting! also: there were some pretty major issues i found in the AO3 version??? for some reason two chapters were out of order???? maybe i'm just old and don't know how AO3 works anymore lol...... anyways, that should all be fixed now! yay!

HUGE website update!!! i revised the Welcome. and About. pages. i made some formatting changes to the Lore. and FAQ. pages. i added some "hidden" character art pages for the main five characters that you can access through the Cast. page ;) I also uploaded the entire Book 1 to my website under a new page called Chapter Directory.

i began working on Book 2..... i'm only about 4,000 words into chapter I, but i'm very excited for this book!! lots of big changes coming to the Hotel and the staff!

whew! that's it! since my move, i've had a lot of time to work on my one true passion project. i'm VERY grateful for that.

i am eager to get book 1 in print.... i wont be posting any book 2 chapters until that comes out, most likely. but who knows. these mfers could sleep on this application for months... spare me

anyways! thanks for hanging around, y'all! i know i haven't been super active on here during the last year or so, but i hope my periodic check-ins are enough :))

the first draft of Heart Hollow book 1 is completely finished. i'm working with my editor right now before going the self pub route. i plan to release for the holiday 2025 season!

i am working diligently on the cover for both a hard cover and soft cover version. looking pretty damn good so far, i will say!!

i plan to release the draft of the final chapter (Chapter 13: Last Hurrah) this upcoming fall!!! stay tuned

i will be having a pretty big life change this year; i plan to move across the country!! i'm not sure what this means for Heart Hollow just yet, but i am feeling very excited to start working on Book 2: Cupid's Curse once i get settled. i think a change of scenery will really inspire me in this new stage!

i'm super ready to get Book 1 out there. i've been working on this first act for 3 years now, and i'm feeling very ready to move onto the next act of the series. Book 2 is gonna be great for my slow-burn romance fans (✋) as there's going to be a lot of new story elements, new characters to spice up the world, and some VERY juicy drama!!

Heart Hollow's physical release document is 100% DONE and submitted to the copyright office!!!

I'd like a February release, but apparently the copyright office can take up to 6 months to approve things..... sobs and cries. soooo stay tuned for a date on that!

the cover is 100% complete!! woohoo!!! I'm really proud of how it turned out. I'll be posting that alongside the link to purchase :)

the Heart Hollow physical release will be the BEST version of the story available, and I am really quite proud of it. lots of good things were added, edited, and tied up! it's sooo polished!!!

some physical merch is in the works..... like, fr. if the book isn't available by Valentine's Day, I know the merch will be!!! I am REALLY looking forward to that!!!

the finished Heart Hollow document is 365 pages and 128,529 words. what a feat! while this is technically the second book I've written, this is the first original content that I've written at such lengths..... AND my first legal publication! damn!!!!

in the meantime, I'll be working on Drabbles, artworks, and Book 2 :)

whew!!! it's been a very productive month or so after my move across the country! apologies for being a bit behind schedule, I know I was aiming for a holiday season 2025 release, but I'm very glad that I didn't rush myself on this editing process. I am confident that I am releasing the best possible version of Heart Hollow that I can!

Heart Hollow book 1 has been 100% readthrough and annotated by my editor :]

i'm almost done with editing the first half of the book, but there's a few things I'd like to go back and tweak before a physical release

i've been working on the cover slowly but surely.... that's why I haven't posted a lot of art recently. this cover is one of the biggest and most detailed artworks I've ever done for the series, so it's been consuming all my free drawing time :P

Court Date is getting a major major MAJOR face lift. i am already liking how it's turning out soooo much better.... lowkey I think that's why I was holding onto it for so long. i didn't really like how those chapters turned out, but my editor gave me a lot of good notes and things to look out for. the finalized book is gonna have a lot more juice added to it, that's for sure!!!

i'm still aiming for a Holiday season 2025 physical release, please stick around for a more finalized date on that!

i've been deliberating over doing a smaller project between books to give my brain a break from the Heart Hollow cinematic universe.... but we shall see what happens come the new year :]
