really dumb part of my job is reading books just to make sure i don't have to use them in my work. like oh ok this book may be relevant it keeps popping up in my sources let's give it a try. and then it sucks. and that's technically not wasted time because you have to rule stuff out but boy does it feel like it

Wishing I knew more Japanese not for practical reasons like communicating properly but because trying to figure out what song is being sampled in another song is driving me absolutely nuts and I don't read enough Japanese to be able to go through all of these lyrics and websites
