A random headcanon: in Her forest, there's a mailbox that tommy made for techno some time ago. when phil's restless, he goes in there and leaves flowers and prays. they're always gone by the morning. he can only pray it's Her that's receiving them.

General Opinion over said character: c!phil is my absolute favorite my shining star he is so endlessly interesting to me. i could go on and on about headcanons for phil and my feelings on him. this bitch has made me cry more times than i want to admit. c!phil <3

He slips out of his house quickly upon spotting that, netherite armor still light against the thick covering of snow as he approaches Phil. There's a dazed look on the older man's face as he squeezes his way back through the fenceposts, a wobbly smile on his face that he casts back to the forest just before he notices Ranboo approaching.

"Ranboo!" he blurts, eyes widening. "What the hell are you doing up, mate, it's late!"

Ranboo stammers. "Well- well- well I could say the same thing about you!" The ridiculousness of his trying to establish a bedtime on a guy a lot older than him doesn't go unnoticed to Ranboo, but he tries to bluster past it. "And- and you were in the forest, that's- I thought you said it was off limits!"

Phil has come to a stop halfway through his rambling attempts at a reprimand, looking to Ranboo with the most puzzled expression Ranboo has ever seen him wear. "Did I? When was that?"

Uh oh. If Ranboo was remembering something, and Phil wasn't, that really wasn't good. Ranboo blanches, hastening to pull out his memory book. "Look! Right here!" The pages have been flipped to the entry about Her, but even Phil rereading his own warning doesn't seem to stir anything in him.

"Oh!" Phil laughs. "Oh, no, mate, that's not something you have to worry about."

Ranboo does not feel any less worried.

"Go on," Phil encourages, his own great wing nudging at the space between Wilbur's own. "You've got this, mate. And I'll be right there to catch you if you don't."

Wilbur huffed, digging his talons into the branch he perches on. "I've got this," he repeats, an affirmation, a prayer.

From his father's chest, Tommy babbles, possibly cheering him on, possibly distracted by a passing butterfly. Wilbur can hear Phil chuckle, briefly distracted by his younger son.

It's at that exact moment that Wilbur's body jolts forward, brain deciding now was the time for him to take the plunge.

All too literally.

23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

sigh... i have...this whole world where i connected all of tommy's mod video aus... and it's phil centric (of course it is) based around loops of reality and a tommy who doesn't know he's a deity and wilbur who's slowly getting infected by void sickness and. i have a whole story planned out i just haven't written it because i never had time to rewatch tommy's mod videos and give them the attention they deserved to write this well

19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)

Hm...i really don't know! i do feel like i repeat my descriptions a lot but i can't tell if that's an actual thing or an overanxious writer thing. I guess for tropes uh. c!phil whump ? is that a trope. ill put that fucker in imminent danger any chance i get!

14. At what point in writing do you come up with a title?

usually right at the end of a one shot/the first chapter, but sometimes titles work themselves out before im ready to post something, just because like...idk it works. most of my project titles are things like "john wick moment" and "crow cryptid and kids" until i finish a chapter though lol!

Phil's hands flinch so violently that he very nearly spills the partially-boiled water all over his arms.

He doesn't quite manage to keep his voice down this time. "What the fuck!"
