James shrugged as he put his drink back down on the bar and looked up at Emma.  He had no plans for Saturday. 

The universe had burdened Poe Dameron with the curse of constantly landing himself in dangerous situations, but had simultaneously blessed him with the ability of squirming his way out of them. Honestly, he wouldn’t blame the universe for his decision-making and slightly lacking sense of self-preservation, but he would continue to be grateful for whatever agent of the force typically guided him out of worse consequences than torture.

“I promise you! I promise you that this is th’ best place ta get milkshakes at! Forget where ever you’re thinkin’ of, this place? Deans Diner? Is th’ best of th’ best! ‘nd m’ not jus’ sayin’ that ‘cause I use ta work here either. S’ th’ truth!” Kazia pushed the older door to the rough looking diner open, and dragged Emma in after her. The building was empty, and the two stood in the door way for a moment, unsure if it was actually open.

At the belated sound of the door ding a middle aged woman came around a corner to greet them and offered them a half smile, “Hey there Kaz. You come back for a job? Or for food?” Kazia grinned back and said, “Hey ya, Mary! M’ here ta prove a point on milkshakes. Y’all still okay with makin’ em this late?” The older woman, Mary, chuckled. “Yeah we’ll make you some. Take a seat anywhere ‘nd I’ll be right up ta take your order.” Mary ducked back around the corner heading into the kitchen.

my opinion on;

character in general: listen i have a weak spot for bartender characters for some reason. also musicians. also anna kendrick is bae. but no i rlly like emma, she’s absolutely adorable, and such a relatable character-- to me at least. she just feels so... human, y’know? i like that.how they play them: see above? :U i really like when really human and normal characters incorporate themselves into things like marvel which is p awesome.the mun: it’s so awesome that we reconnected!!! we knew each other  back on falc’s second blog, and they played with falc’s version of clint for a while and i can’t wait to just have emma and clint be huge dorks together againnnnnn
