So this next one was inspired by a gift from a very good friend of mine Book of Lilith on ff.net. It was a snippet from her fic "Crazy on you" which mainly focused on Roberto and Amara but the side ship was in fact Jubilee and Ray, their side plot revolving on Jubilee avoiding and denying her attraction to the electricity welding mutant (due to girl code since she knew Tabitha was interested in him too). I was super invested in it so she broke my heart when she decided not to continue it but I will always have her gift to me, and now this commission to remember it.

Here's a small snip-it for you along with this beautiful commission by @lolitsleia.

"I'm not your type?"

She almost laughed outright at that. They were so compatible in every way that mattered that it physically hurt to distance herself from him and he wasn't helping matters, the persistent bastard.

"You're interested in someone else?" he went on, taking her silence as a sign to continue. "You don't find me attractive?"

That last one did make her laugh, hysterically so in her nervousness, prompting him to raise his head and look at her questioningly.

His physical appeal was not even close to being an issue.

A clever hand slid from the wall to rest on her hip and cut off her incessant cackling almost as unexpectedly as it had begun. "You know it's not nice to laugh when I'm here, trying to remedy what you find so offensive about me."

His tone had dropped indicating his displeasure and the statement was punctuated by a firm tug on one of her belt loops, bringing her pelvis into sudden contact with his.

"There's nothing to remedy," she assured breathlessly, head falling back against the wall. If he would just step back and give her some space she would be able to think. She only needed a couple of seconds to remember what she was trying to accomplish by pushing him away but she couldn't summon any of her pitiful justifications beneath the unwavering glare of his steely blue eyes.

So for this one I imagine it being a while after the ending of Evo and Wanda is getting snippets of her erased memories. John who started a relationship with her is just waiting for the inevitable of her remembering that he's the one that lured her to Magneto 👀...
