I just gotta say, that all sexualities are valid.
Nothing more attractive then a dude who doesn’t realize he’s incredibly attractive and nothing more unattractive then a dude who clearly recognizes his attractiveness it’s a vicious cycle and the reason I find men either unbelievably sexy or heinously grotesque
Hey, so I’m doing an essay for uni and i could really get some outside opinions please. I haven't completely narrowed down the subject, but I want to get as much research done as possible so it'll be easier to pick what direction I do go down.
The question I want to ask people is, why are people so obsessed with the glorification with gay culture.
As in, why are there more gay ships than straight, why are straight people more and more obsessed with drag culture, why do people get more excited at a gay couple over a straight couple?
If you get what I mean, and all answers should be personal and not really a copy and paste answer... if that’s ok
Any answer whether it be a reblogged answer, a anon... Whatever, would be really really helpful.
thank you
Amy
Heterophobic Misogyny and the End of Patriarchy: Twitter ramblings
So, I originally posted this on the site formerly known as twitter, but it was disorganized, so I decided to post it here as a more organized archive. I will admit this is just a bunch of shower thoughts and I have read zero feminist theory so feel free to roast me on this.
The only way true feminism is going to achieve victory is if misogyny starts negatively affecting straight men and the only way that’s happening if misogyny makes a hetrophobic turn.
Adding onto this: if this is true, then the end of the patriarchy is going to be bloody. Best case a couple of hate crimes against hetero couples. Worst case? Full blown insurgency.
Adding onto this even more it’s unlikely that Hetrophobic misogyny will just be male political lesbianism, in fact there’s a decent chance it’s going to be genocidal.
It doesn't even need to be a high percentage of straight men who become heterophobes. Just enough it causes a big enough ruckus to cause the patriarchy to collapse under its internal contradictions.

A New Life: Jackie Hill-Perry
Today I saw a car with a fuck ton of homophobic, Catholic, and Trump bumper stickers and I was just staring at it in the middle of a parking lot wanting to burn each of the stickers off the car
