Nahhh, Angel could never be mad at Robin 🥺. She could tease Angel all she wants, but she would never get annoyed at the sweet, Halovian singer. This does make me wonder how Pearl and Herta would react to Angel/Angey’s squeaky voice though. I don’t think Pearl would react much. She does raise a brow at Angel’s awfully crackly voice, but she doesn’t comment on it and simply offers her a glass of water, maintaining professionalism. Herta on the other hand, is blunt as fuck. She’d notice Angey giving her the silent treatment while she works, and when Herta demands she speak up, Angey sighs and goes—

“mY vOiCe iS sHoT, mAdAme hErtA.”

Sorry, the hidden poly route is in the DLC expansion and is a secret ending you can only unlock by collecting all the secret eggs scattered around the map ☺️

The Hertagey ending would technically be the “good ending” because Herta makes it her mission to restore Angel’s voice. She probably teams up with Ruan Mei to make sure that the surgery is a success. Angel’s voice isn’t restored 100%, but it sounds much more natural now. It is also in this ending that the controversy of Angel’s fake voice and the huge scandal regarding her ex agency is revealed, so that all gets resolved in the Hertagey ending.

However, the Robingey ending isn’t so bad. I think there is something beautiful in learning to heal and move on. Angel may not get her voice back if she ends up with Robin, but under Robin’s love and care, she learns to be happy with her life. Angel might retire from singing though, the identity of Angel will be erased, but Angey will continue to exist. She’d continue her music career as a mysterious indie cover artist on the internet instead.

I guess Robingey is the neutral ending compared to Herta’s, but I feel a little sad for some reason. Perhaps a happy ending for Robingey is Robin actually reaching out to Herta to help restore with Angel’s voice. Then, just like in the Hertagey ending, Angel gets part of her voice back and can continue her career.

I saw a bunch of HertaMei arts on Twitter where they downsized Hertatomb (but she’s still a lot bigger) so she could fuck Ruan Mei…and ykw, maybe it is possible for Angeysona to actually take her 🤔

The future for Angey/Angel is currently unknown. Her selfship lore is still in development and is not as fully fleshed out as her Genshin counterpart.

With that said, I don’t know who ends up with Angey in the end, it’s pretty ambiguous right now. She could choose one, or she could go for the hidden polycule route. Honestly, I’m making up the selfship lore as I go and adding whatever input you guys give me because you guys have some rlly cool ideas. If I like it enough, sometimes I’ll make your ideas canon to the actual lore and keep it that way. Kudos to that one anon who suggested Angey/Angel be a Masked Fool, now it’s canon to her actual character ☺️

DAMN ANON. I didn’t even think to make the angst that bad. The fact that Herta —now merged with the Irontomb— still clung onto her last bits of love for Angey to keep Angey’s glasses safe, that’s gutwrenching. Hertatomb probably doesn’t even know why she is trying so hard to keep these pair of glasses safe, but it’s her Achilles’ heel as the Astral Express use her weakness as an advantage.
