You cant see them in this photo but there were a ton of whales off Herring Cove this morning. Technically, I suppose that would tons of whales, given their weight 😉🤪 spouts, backs and tails in every direction. These were Atlantic right whales, of which less than 400 remain. They feed heavily in Cape Cod Bay in late winter and very early spring before heading north for the summer.
