HE WAS  a  soul  unattached.  untethered. his  feet  trod  where  the  winds  guided  him  &  gwaine  never  made  the  habit  of  settling  in  long  enough  to  roost.  he  hadn’t  meant  to  stay  (  *  it  had  happened  faster  than  he  could  blink  &  suddenly  he  was  on  his  knees,  a  blade  kissing  his  shoulders  & arthur  was  telling  him  to  rise  )  but  he  had.  he  tipped  the  tankard,  licking  at  the  last  drops,   ❛   camelot’s  ale  lacks  the  variety  of  their  mercian  counterparts.  better  quality,  but you’d  get  bored  of  it  quick,  i  reckon.   ❜

The Inquisitor had the insatiable habit of exploring caves and ruins when she had some spare time. Today was no different. She was alone today; and not that far off from the Inquisition stronghold in Crestwood; she had passed a cave that seem to beckon her to explore it and being unable to resist; she entered it without much thought.

The cave wasn’t extravagant by no means but it seem deep and dark; and Ella wondered what secret treasures it was hiding. However, upon stumbling upon a large camp at it’s center; she had no idea she would be staring face to face with the Hero of Ferelden. 

          ❝ Now you look like someone who's walked the abyss and LIVED. ❞ The comment came without warrant, simply an observation after having glanced the man, pausing a moment beside him to get a better observation. Even the spirits whispered their agreement against the thin barrier of the veil. She did not linger for too long in that position, however, moving once more to place herself a few feet across, fully facing him.
