Bruce approaches the hologram slowly and the concern in his expression is pained and flickers with curiosity like the dimming letters of an old, neon sign. A girl. Slight and blonde, so familiar even though he's sure he's never seen her before, "What..." he asks Tony when he's close enough to be bathed in the projections blue light, "It's a girl. You're making a girl?"

He doesn't always get Tony. This is one of those times. The schematics are right there, rotating in several blocks on the screen beside her. The skeleton and it's laser-red eyes specifically give Bruce pause, "You're making a Terminator." he reaches up to nervously grip at his hair with both hands, "This is a Terminator! Are you outta your mind?"

I’m not sure what you have to change, but I do a *lot* of vampire show crossovers and I find the easiest way to keep *all* lore without having to make big changes is to say Damon, Spike and Edward are different species of vampire. Tyler Lockwood, Oz and Scott McCall are all werewolves, just not the same species. It makes my life easier, lol.

Jo still wasn’t entirely sure why Faith had gotten her added to the list for this party, but the Slayer seemed to enjoy dragging her to these fancy ass places. At least this time she’d been more prepared, and had gone shopping for a very nice dress. Sequins weren’t really her style, but it looked good and was fairly cheap.

Getting out of the cab she took a deep breath, her eyes flicking around at the press surrounding the building. More than one flashing camera pointed her direction and Jo had to resist the urge to duck and run. This was so not her normal scene. Did Faith make her come to this just so she wasn’t the only one feeling awkward?

Yes, someone enjoys having the welcome mat rolled out to her. And yes, that same somebody likes to take advantage. But if someone as ill-advised as Faith Lehane gives you an all access pass to every Slayer’s behind the scenes version of Disney Land unsupervised, what are you going to do, sit around and stare?

Duh, no. Buffy’s already been snooping around for the best part of an hour - she’s had the tour, but likes it better when there’s no guide, “Giles, you are not gonna believe this.” She mumbles to herself, making her way up the last couple of steps to the second floor of the level she’s in and everything’s even more impressive the second time around. Now that it’s all sinking in and she doesn’t have the added bonus of listening to Faith go on and on about things Buffy herself is even struggling to grasp. There were no books, though. And she’d be sure to leave out that part.

Thirty seconds later and she finds herself outside some type of lab. Buffy never got to see this part for herself, but that doesn’t mean Faith wasn’t useless for once and happened to mention where it was located. There’s a couple of buttons on the door and she pushes the one that looks the most obvious, mentally praying it’s not some type of alarm, “Aha!” There’s a little pride in her smile as the door slides open and she takes a cautious step inside. She checks nobody’s watching before casually touring the room, observing all the different kinds of state of the art machinery with zero clue what they do or what they’re used for. She doesn’t feel as keen to test her luck on some of these more fancy looking buttons, but it doesn’t matter for long because when Buffy’s gaze shifts a little more to the right, it’s like she’s finally hit the jackpot.

“Ooh.” It appears to be some type of weapon. Super advanced, but not completely finished. Doesn’t have a ‘do not touch’ sign on it though, so of course in typical Buffy fashion she’s happy to pick it up and start playing with it, “Neat.”

Yes! This sort of stuff is lovely. I mean, there are vampires on Buffy so old they still have cloven feet and demon faces. Plus, and this is just something that makes *me* laugh, but all the jokes that come from the Buffy vampires. The sarcasm, slang. It’s like a whole fandom full of Damons — I can’t imagine the straight-laced Mikaelson brood loving that. Can Harmony please bother Elijah? Or crash Klaus’ home with her little pom-pom dog & her million asinine questions?

It also lends itself to funny moments, like Damon and Caroline speeding off and Angel having to get in his car and follow them because he doesn’t have that particular gift. Or all the jokes we’ve been able to make about how the Mikaelsons *love* to say they’re ‘Originals’, but it’s mostly just bluster and ego. Also, the sparkling can always be kinda made fun of by vampires who don’t sparkle. It makes for a big, broad universe. That’s just my preference, though!
