First book review that I’ve seen online for my newest novel, Here There Be Witches, & it’s 5 stars!

This review made me SO happy. I was curious how this novel would be received since it is very different from my other books. It is set in 1645 for one. And in this one I dive deeply into the witch hunts/trials that my characters face.

I’m so relieved that my vision appears to have been accomplished. I write to release healing into the world, and knowing that my books help others on their healing paths lights my soul on fire. I feel this is my true purpose.

I made a Spotify playlist for my novel, Here There Be Witches, just like all my other books. It’s absolutely one of the best parts of writing for me. When I start a book, I curate a playlist with songs that inspired the story and songs that perfectly set the mood for the novel so I can get right into the vibes of the book. It helps so much with capturing the atmosphere of the scenes I’m describing.

Today, I'm sharing another quote from my new novel, Here There Be Witches - releasing 8-26-25

In this novel, we follow 3 sister witches (Alexa, Iris, and Hattie Wardwell) as they navigate the witch hunts in 1645 in England, and we see the weight of their prophetic gifts.

We see the oldest Wardwell sister, Alexa, divining fortunes in a myriad of ways throughout this story—palmistry, tea leaf readings, reading futures in the cards (that she made herself) and scrying through fire, water, and even with crystals.

There’s one constant throughout all my novels, and that is divination. Ever since I found tarot in 2018, I’ve been captivated by divination and the allure it has had on us throughout time. No matter how far you go back in time, there will be tales of fortunes being divined either through sand, bones, runes, or even entrails. Humans have always been fascinated by what the future holds. And in this novel, I explore the weight that foresight has on those who have the ability to see dark times coming.

Do they share with others what they see headed their way, or do they keep that knowledge close to the chest and allow their loved ones a bit more time to enjoy the quiet before the chaos descends? This is the dark side of divination that many diviners face when fortunes don’t foretell good omens to come.

It’s the story chronicling the past witch incarnation of the 3 main characters from the Divining Sisters Series that occurs during the witch trials in England in 1645 with the Witchfinder General. We’ve seen flashbacks to this time period throughout the series, and now we see that full story play out as Alexa, Iris, and Hattie Wardwell navigate their way through the witch hunts.

If you are interested in reading all my books, I would suggest reading them in the order I wrote them starting with Book 1 in The Divining Sisters Series – The Call of the Cards because I think it’s more fun and interesting to discover the past lives as the characters discover them on their awakening journey.
