ANGEL DUST LORE?!??

He killed Henroin (his dad)?? Holy shit. (And then Vox has the audacity to make that comment about his father hitting him as if he doesn’t know what Angel goes through with Val-)

We know Arackniss’ VA has been cast for a later season, so I’m so interested when this comes into play. I wonder if this will be something pushed off until next season, but still- shit. We are eating with lore.

i could be speaking too soon (we’ll find out in a couple hours) but it seems like you can predict the trajectory of the huskerdust relationship based on loser, baby

both scenes in season 2 where husk and angel were about to actually sit and talk about their emotions towards each other were interrupted by the people who own their souls

not unlike this scene from loser, baby

“im trapped and it gets worse with every hour”

then, the ropes slip off of them both, and they sit back to back under the mlm flag lighting and are overtly affectionate towards each other

the conflict isn’t that angel and husk don’t KNOW they’re in love with each other. they know it.

and the conflict isn’t that they don’t want the other person to know. they don’t care about that. they’re not hesitant to show that they love each other.

the conflict that they can’t do anything meaningful with it when their soul is owned by someone else. the slowburn of their relationship comes from circumstances entirely out of their control.

the Vs and alastor don’t want their attention elsewhere bc it affects how good of a job they can do when they’re needed.

if angel is the most important person to husk, then that might get in the way of what alastor needs him for. if husk is the most important person to angel, he can’t be controlled by val as easily and won’t dedicate enough effort to his work.

now, where does it go from here?

i don’t suspect that vox (bc angel is technically the property of voxtech) is gonna release angels soul, but I do think that the Vs will not be able to keep him employed due to their respective businesses falling apart after whatever happens in the finale.

and of course vox/val isn’t just gonna free his soul, or even kill him. they’re gonna try to sell it and profit from it.

THAT’S where I think angels family is gonna come in. this could be totally and completely wrong but I think it’d be interesting if angel’s soul was sold off to his father and brother so they can put him to work for the family (something angel might’ve tried to escape from or maybe wasn’t allowed to do when he was alive)

Angel (Anthony) is a sinner who died in the 40s.

Growing up as an Italian immigrant in New York City, angel was born to a crime mob family who primarily smuggled drugs, his father Henry (henroin, very easy to assume his name) was the family head and as people would imagine not a very man.

Angel was raised in a tough environment. Having been raised in a private crime family, education wasn’t valued enough, meaning he would pulled out of school rather early to pull his own weight. Though he didn’t have friends many friends, due to the growing tensions of ww2 and being “different” from most other boys his age.

Angel was much softer than the others boys in his, he preferred to dress up, look pretty. Angel had more in common with his mother and sister Molly and anyone else. Henry didn’t like any of that and neither did angel’s older brother Archie (Archibald/Archie since we don’t know arachnid’s name yet). They both would continue to bring down angel’s spirits through bullying and physical abuse. Secretly angel knew he was different, he was gay, he liked doing drag and he felt would never measure up to the masculine ideals of his family.

Later in his life, his mother and sister would be killed shot because of a crime feud. This event would the breaking point that cements angel into rejecting his identity and following his brother and father. Still unhappy and clearly not strong or good with his weapons, angel falls to a drug addiction. At age 36 he’d die from pcp overdose.

Arackniss, Molly and Anthony were born in Italy

I know ppl often imagine angels mother as a loving and sweet person (if they mention her at all) but I imagine her being kind of an asshole

My headcanon for her is that henroin was madly in love with her and was a kind and gentle husband, but she didn’t like the family life and so she cheated on him and ran away with another man when Arackniss was like 6 and Anthony and Molly 2

I also think that she let Arackniss feel that she doesn’t like being his mom, even though he didn’t really understand that

Their Mom is in hell

Henroin was partly a shitty father because the heartbreak has hardened him

Arackniss feels like he owes henroin something cause he was the only one of the children who really knew his father when his mother was still there (he feels like his mother left because of him

Arackniss loved his mother

Also I imagine he loves cooking (but he denies it) because he had to cook for the family often after his mother left (and he was a natural)

When they were children Arackniss often protected Anthony from bullies

Anthony had a girlfriend 

Anthony was homophobic

when he noticed he likes men he started hating himself and was trying to get himself to like girls

Molly was the one that brought them together

Molly was homophobic too but she was capable of changing her opinion after her twin brother died

Anthony died first (drugs) Molly second (shortly after) Arackniss third (suicide) and henroin last (alcohol)

Anthony overdosed himself on purpose or at least he didn’t care if he died

The night Anthony died Arackniss was really mad, hit him and told him (in rage) that everyone would be better of if he died

Molly had suicide attempts after Anthony died

I also think Molly cried and screamed a lot, while Arackniss was just empty and silent

Arackniss feels guilty for the death of his siblings

Deep down Henroin feels guilty for the death of his children but pushes that guilt away

When Molly meets Anthony in heaven it will be weird to her to see him so feminine (but she gets over that in like seconds)

Deep down Arackniss would like to see his brother and talk to him because he knows he made mistakes 

After consulting with my spider family expert, unfortunately, there is not a lot of Henroin to be found. Other than the things you've already mentioned, there are two other instances that we're aware of. He can be seen with some other sketches here which will get properly posted eventually.
